Went on a afternoon walk to the school playground where Jeff and I first met. Watching the high school kids play softball makes me miss rolling around in the sand for grounders, catching pop-flies and screaming chants so loud that we lost our voices. Braiden loved swinging with mommy and watching the baseball boys. He is definetly going to be a sports junkie like his mama :) (Taken with instagram)

My little man is growing up way to fast!

Wow my precious baby boy is already 8 months old! Everyday he is learning, growing and changing from a little baby to a independent little boy. In February he went from learning how to roll over to learning how to army crawl. And now he is crawling on his hands and knees and pulling himself up onto ANYTHING: toys, couches, chairs, lol. He loves his Mikey Mouse Club House in the morning while mommy puts her makeup on, he loves to crawl over to his toybox and pick his own out to play with, he loves to crawl under things like his jump-a-roo, his swing and the rocking chair, he only enjoys bath time if there are toys involved and he loves to get his little hands on any electronics: remotes, tablet or cell phones. My little man definitely keeps me busy chasing him around.
One of Braidens’s favorite time of the day is when he sees his bestfriend Gunner and they get to play and share toys. They smile, and laugh and talk to each other and they love to go explore together. Of course my little monkey is the ring-leader and loves to carve the path on their adventures :-) Danni and I love spending everyday together and raising the boys up as brothers.
About a month ago my heart melted in pieces when mylittle angel said ”ma-ma” for the first time, of course it was when he was fussy and crying but it still made my heart skip a beat. Even to this day, majority of the time he says ”mama” when hes crying but of course it makes my heart smile :-)
My little monkers sure has his mama wrapped around his finger. I love cuddling with my little man and am so blessed to have the sweetest alarm clock in the world. He always wakes up in such a great mood and puts a smile on my face. Being a mother is by far the most rewarding job in the world.
As Easter is just a few days away i am so grateful for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As we celebrate his conquering of the grave i am reminded of all the blessings in my life. My precious son, my faith, my husband, friends, family, my health and his grace. This year we are sharing this beautiful holiday with close friends and family. We will start the morning at church and then to a family brunch where we will enjoy fellowship, food, fun and a mini easter egg hunt for our little ones. So excited to make Easter a big holiday in our family and teach Braiden the meaning of our celebration.
God bless…

Essentials for a mother of a 8 month old:
1. New big boy car seat: as my little boy is growing like a weed he grew out of his newborn snapin style carseat. I did my reaserch and went with Saftey 1st.
2. Vtech or other music/light up toys: good for interaction and learning.
3. Baby walker: to help teach him how to walk
4. Baby baseball caps: my little man loves to look just like his daddy in his camo caps :-)
5. Socks, socks, and more socks: his little socks are always falling off so we finally invested in some good quality Old Navy socks! We love them!
6. Lysol wipes: for the germ-a-phobe in me
7. And of course…………… Extra strong coffee!
